Bridgemill Bluefins Swim Team Visiting Team Information

We are looking forward to having you visit! Below you will find visiting team guidelines.

Our pool is a 6-lane, 25 meter pool equipped with starting blocks.
Arrival Time – You are welcome to arrive at our pool beginning at 5pm. Please do not arrive any earlier.
Parking—There is parking at the clubhouse. There will be signs to help guide you to where you are going. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF HOMES or IN FRONT OF THE CLUBHOUSE. (NO PARKING signs will be up to designate these areas)
Seating - You will have a designated seating area for your team. We do recommend bringing some extra chairs for your team/parents to sit on. Warm ups-- Visiting Team warm-ups are from 5:30-5:45pm. Your warm up will begin at 5:30pm. Bridgemill warm up will begin at 5:15. Visiting Team Area –Your team tent(s) can be set up on the left side of the pool area. Lifeguards will set up umbrellas and tents for you, but we suggest that you bring your own chairs and/or tents if needed. You are welcome to sit anywhere except for those areas that are designated for our judges, starter, clerking area or timer's areas.There will be tape around the perimeter of the pool – please remain BEHIND those lines so that our swimmers have a walkway to the Clerks. Please DO NOT sit behind the far side of the pool where the swimmers start. This is designated for swimmers, coaches and volunteers only.
Swim team concessions and 50/50 Raffle are CASH ONLY. –Concessions will be available. We will be offering soft pretzels, buttered noodles, hot dogs, pizza, nachos, snacks, candy and drinks. (This is subject to change and will let you know if there are any changes). We will also have a variety of ice cream that you can pick from).
We will also be offering a 50/50 Raffle and will pull the winning ticket after IM’s.
Swim team concessions and 50/50 are CASH ONLY.
Pool Rules – ONLY THE LAP POOL IS OPEN FOR OUR MEETS. The remainder of the pool, including the kiddie area are CLOSED for the duration of the meet.
Diving – If your swimmers aren’t comfortable diving off blocks yet, they are welcome to dive off the side or start in the water. Diving will only be allowed at starter end - no diving will be allowed at the other end of the pool (for relays).
Clerk of Course – Clerking of swimmers will be located at the deep end of the pool, behind and to the side of where swimmers start their races.
Timers/Judges –There will be a timer’s meeting inside the clubhouse at 5:45pm or 15 minutes prior to the start of the meet. We would like to have both timers and judges attend the meeting.
Computers/Ribbons – The computer is located inside the clubhouse. If you are running the computer or labeling ribbons, please report there before the start of the meet.
Volunteer Refreshments – All volunteers are welcome to complimentary water at the concession table.
Heat Sheets - We will provide heat sheets for visiting team’s coaching staff only. Please feel free to distribute an electronic copy to your team parents.
Restrooms – Restrooms and showers are located in the clubhouse and can only be accessed through the door to the right of the concession area and by the main entrance.
Lightning/Restrictions – If any lightning is sighted, you may gather inside the clubhouse until it passes.
