Rules: Greater Charlotte Swim League rules of competition apply. See Greater Charlotte Swim League Bylaws 2022 Season for complete eligibility details. Swimmers must have participated in at least two regular season dual meets.

Entries: The All Star Meet Event file is different from the regular season file and event order. The All Star Meet Event file will automatically convert meter times to yards.

• There will be no designated 6 & Under events, although 6 & Under swimmers may swim in the 8 & Under events.

• Each swimmer may enter a maximum of 3 individual events and a maximum of 2 relay events, for a total 5 events. Being listed as an alternate for an event does count as an entry for the swimmer.

• Teams may enter a maximum of 2 swimmers per individual event and 1 relay per event (plus alternates). A swimmer may also be entered in one (1) relay as an aged up swimmer. This does not count as an entry.
• Listing an aged-up swimmer as an alternate does not presume eligibility: all rules must be followed when an aged-up swimmer or the relay will be disqualified. You may list a swimmer as an aged-up alternate for two (2) relays, but they may only swim once.

The ONLY changes that are allowed after the Psych Sheet has been published is to remove the entered swimmer with an alternate, if you have an alternate designated in that event.

*** Please instruct your coaches to make all changes on arrival, at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the meet. Changes may be made during the meet prior to swimming an event, if you have an alternate listed for that event. Late changes should be the exception and minimal.

We recommended you print the heat sheets you will need for your coaches and staff. We will only offer a limited number for sale at the concession stand at the beginning of each meet.

TROPHIES!!! Please remember to bring back your divisional trophies from 2019 (already with your team and year on it) as well as your leftover ribbons!

Clerk of Course and Seating Areas:

• All 8 & Under and 9-10 swimmers will report to the Clerk of Course before proceeding to the blocks.
• 11 & Over swimmers should report to the area behind the blocks directly for their event.
• Teams/swimmers will sit with their team in a designated area on deck at your team banner site. Two (2) team parents may be assigned to assist your team’s swimmers as parents will not be allowed on deck. The on-deck Team Parents must check in at the GCSL table in the Hospitality room and have signed up on SwimTopia.
• Parents/Family of swimmers will sit in the bleacher section overlooking the competition pool. The front of this area is glass and will be kept clear of people so viewing is not obstructed. Parents may bring chairs outside the facility; however, no direct view is available from outside. NO chairs or stadium seats are allowed in the bleacher section.

Vendors:

JOLYN, All-Star T-shirts, Food Trucks, and a concession stand. CASH ONLY for the concession stand.

Medals: awarded to 1st -3rd place and ribbons awarded to 4th-8th place. Reps must pick up their medals/ribbons at the end of the meet before leaving. At the conclusion of the meet, each team must pick up their area before leaving.
