Hello Swim Families!

VOLUNTEER JOB SIGNUPS ARE OPEN!

Our meet on Monday will be at an outdoor pool off Rea Road near Blakeney. As soon as the other team emails us information, I’ll get it out to you. Until then, here is some info and  a few reminders. 

🦈 The address of the pool is: 10607 Rea Rd Charlotte, NC 28277. As soon as you turn into the driveway, turn right and follow the road all the way to the back for the pool parking lot. I’ll attach a photo with a red line drawn to show. The pool is a little hidden back there. (The map looks like it is from winter so their pool is covered with an inflatable enclosure.)

🦈 As of now, the meet will begin at 6pm. Our team will most likely need to be there between 5:00-5:15pm.

🦈 THANK YOU to the families who continue to lug their cumbersome tents to our meets to shelter our swimmers!  At our last meet, we thought we could get away with having the tents stored in the emergency corner but the rain was quicker than us!  Please bring your tents again just in case. We appreciate this SO much!

🦈 THANK YOU to those who have already signed up to volunteer.  If your family has not volunteered at any meets this season, we kindly ask that you go into signups and find a position to volunteer for.  Per Coach Harry, if you have a swimmer on the team, you are required to volunteer at least 4 times during the season to help run the swim meets. Please adhere to this requirement to help make the swim meets successful. Thank you to the volunteers who jumped in to fill open spots at the meet last week! 
🦈 Bring chairs to sit on. If I remember correctly, it’s a bit of a tight squeeze at this pool.

🦈 Come prepared for rain again even if the forecast calls for sunshine!

Please let Coach Harry and I know tonight or early tomorrow morning if your swimmer will be absent. The coaches need to send our entires to the other team and make sure our relays are accurate. Thanks!
