Hello Swim Families!

On Monday, June 3, we will attend our first swim meet. The address is: 1415 Berry Ridge Road, Charlotte, NC 28270. Coaches would like swimmers there at 5:15pm. I’ll also attach the welcome letter from their team rep below. We still have MANY volunteer positions that have not been signed up for. Please take a look at the available positions and choose one to sign up for. The coaches will assign volunteer positions to parents at the meet if these positions are not filled.

🦈 Please arrive at 5:15pm and have your swimmer check in with our volunteer where we will be setting up the swimmers seating area. Volunteers will also check in.

🦈Swimmers will be sitting with their age groups with the coaches and will be lined up by our Clerk of Course Team. Swimmers must stay in our seating areas so we can line them up for events. If they are not present when we are calling names and lining them up, they will miss their event. Please help us by sending your swimmer back to their age group seating area if they come over to where you are seated.

🦈Parents will sit around the pool area so bring chairs to sit on. If you have a pop-up tent, it would be greatly appreciated if you brought it along and set it up for shade for the swimmers.

🦈We try to shade the kids as much as possible, but applying sunscreen helps them as well.

🦈The host team will be offering hot dogs and hamburgers for purchase and they accept cash or Venmo. It’s also a good idea to pack plenty of snacks and water for your swimmer!

🦈 Please do not leave the meet early unless you first speak with Coach Harry and the Clerk of Course Team to make sure your swimmer does not have a relay event at the end of the meet.
