Good Morning, Tiger Sharks families -

Happy Friday! We are excited to see so many of you at the Championship meet tonight! If you are unsure about your swimmer's entry into the Championship meet, please reach out to me as soon as possible - as Coach Harry stated earlier in the week, if your swimmer is marked "not attending", they did not qualify for the meet this time.

Please read this email in full as I've included some important details for tonight's meet. 

1. Address: Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center (MCAC) 800 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28202

2. Timeline: Please DO NOT arrive before 5:00 pm tonight. The venue will not allow entry to swimmers and families before 5:00 pm. Please note parking at the MCAC will be limited, and the parking lot across the street will not be open to the public before 5:00. *there is additional parking in the vicinity of the aquatics center, and overflow parking is available at the Ed Center.

Upon arrival, swimmers will proceed to the pool deck and our designated staging area to check in with a coach or team mom. Spectators and families will proceed to the seating area overlooking the pool - parents will NOT be permitted on the deck beyond the barricades. Only parent monitors, team moms, and coaches will be allowed in the designated area for our team. Parent Monitors will handle communication with the swimmers.

Warm-ups will begin promptly at 5:15 pm. The meet itself will begin at 6:00 pm. As always, all swimmers MUST come check out with me before leaving to ensure they are not an alternate for another event later in the meet.

3. Volunteers: all volunteers must arrive and sign in at the hospitality room. Volunteers will be given a wristband to be worn and visible at all times. Designated arrival times for volunteers are:

Parent Monitors: 5:00 pm

Timers/Head Timers/Fill-Ins/Additional Volunteers: 5:15 pm

Timers will meet 20 minutes before the start of the meet. This meeting is required for all timers, head timers, and runners.

4. Additional Info:

- Concessions will not be sold at this meet, however there will be food trucks outside. Food or drink will not be permitted on the pool deck.

- Parents may not utilize the swimmer-only locker rooms. Additional restrooms will be available on the opposite side of the lobby.

- No wet swimmers will be permitted in the lobby; swimmers must be dry and have shoes on to enter the lobby area.

Heat Sheets and results will posted via "Meet Mobile" on the SwimTopia app as soon as possible. Awards and ribbons will be given out at the banquet on Sunday.

Friendly reminder: if you have not RSVP'd for the banquet and completed Ms. Hannah's Sign-Up Genius link, please do so as soon as possible.
